In my second report I have researched the practice of corporate blogging. Brand journalism and storytelling are two of the foundation stones of modern PR (some might say they have always been…) and clearly there is a wealth of experience here in the region!
My personal favourites are from Edelman Middle East and Cicero & Bernay.

And when you have read so much PR knowledge you can no-longer take any more, you can also check out http://fakeplastisouks.blogspot.com/ as an example of a general interest blog run quite nicely by one of the Middle East’s most prominent PR chieftains. (And if you like that you can also purchase the author’s book - http://www.olivesthebook.com/.)
Happy reading!

It’d be good to know who in the region’s corporate world is using blogs. GE uses a blog to get its regional message out (you can read it here at http://middleeast.geblogs.com/en/about/) but there’s not too many others, especially from locally-owned firms. Any thoughts Stephen?
