The Mobile Communicator’s Kitbag – Must Have # 2 MacBook Air

I am loathe to recommend anyone spends nearly $1,500 on a piece of kit. But I cannot think of Imageany device that best meets the requirements of today’s communicator than a MacBook Air.

Some might argue for tablet computers, but I don’t and for good reason.

That reason is that they are almost completely useless.

The 13-inch MacBook Air weighs slightly more than a bag of sugar. It uses flash memory which means it boots up fast and has a 2.0GHz dual-core processor to manage multimedia apps. It comes with three USBs and a SD Card slot – essential for transferring video and images. It also has 45hrs of battery life, seven when connected to Wi-Fi.

With the MacBook Air, you get everything you need, word processor, exceptional presentation software, and all the multimedia apps that Apple is renowned for.

It is also very light and looks the part if you want to present yourself as a consummate PR professional and digital media guru. It’s certainly very hard to disagree with Apple’s promise that this is “The ultimate everyday notebook.”

It is the portable office that no PR should be without – even if it does cost the earth!
